How to Migrate Windows Live Mail 2012 to Outlook 2016 on another pc

This process allow you to create a PST file from Live Mail. I did this once but it was 3 years ago.

You may need to transfer contacts into CSV files if you need contacts. I only moved the email itself.

After converting is it able to import in outlook with the mail and able to read, I did with Windows Mail before and it's unread.

Make a new, blank PST file in Outlook and then Import this PST file using Outlook File Import.  Does that work?

I don't dare to try because it's not my email, last time tried with Windows mail before with this type of converter and then have many issues. Do you have any web for windows live mail download? I can't find any working, I need to test it out myself.

Thank you for reverting back.

Microsoft didn't provide the Windows Live Mail download, from 3rd party all have an issue and don't know why can't be install on both my pc for testing getting error. (W8 and W10)

I have checked with the Microsoft Live chat team they mention it's unable to migrate from WLM to OL due to different format don't know whether is true or not, they asked me to use 3rd party software to convert it.

Does any expert here know any converter of eml to pst is free? As checking a few all are demo version and don't think can make it pass 100 mails.

For that many emails (not a lot for some), you may need the paid tools. Stellar Tools has such an application and others do as well. I have used Stellar Tools before (only to one time repair a PST file).

I solved by using migrate method with an expert here providing me the WLM link to install the software and then dare to try around, Thank for the kind support!
