Do I need to force my browser to see my new Favicon
Hi,
Recently installed a favicon.ico in /var/www/html/favicon.ico ... once I'd restarted Chrome it appeared immediately.
I've decided since I didn't like it and introduced a new one, but cannot get it to display even though it's not longer on the server as it's been replaced with the new version.
What am I doing wrong?

It's stored in the Chrome cache. To see the new version, you can either clear your cache or go to the favicon.ico URL and press Cntrl-F5 to refresh the page. That usually updates the browser cache.

HI Dave,
Thanks for helping ... I've cleared the cache in chrome but that does nothing and the url bombs out as it's an ico file. Any other suggestions? Or did I do something wrong?
