I keep getting the following alerts at one our sites<br />
The security appliance in the Example-123 - appliance network has detected an IP conflict with two or more devices. <br />
The IP '172.16.17.163' is claimed by clients with the following MAC addresses: 'D8:CB:8A:CF:DB:6F' '00:21:1C:BF:35:40' <br />

Each time I review mac address I &quot;see&quot; the DB:6F device but don't know why &nbsp;the 35:40 mac thinks it is getting the 172.16.17.163 address as it is the Cisco Switch. Any suggestions to troubleshoot? My boss said to review proxy arp but don't know what I'm looking for to determine if that is the issue.

Each time I review mac address I "see" the DB:6F device but don't know why  the 35:40 mac thinks it is getting the 172.16.17.163 address as it is the Cisco Switch. Any suggestions to troubleshoot? My boss said to review proxy arp but don't know what I'm looking for to determine if that is the issue.
