Running on Windows 7
The printer works fine until I have to print in a diff program, Example I'm printing in Word and then I go to Excel or maybe on-line I cannot print I have to restart the printer. In Event Viewer I do see:
Activation context generation failed for "C:\Program Files\HP\HP ENVY 7640 series\DriverStore\Yeti\V3\amd64\hpinkinsDC11.exe". Dependent Assembly Microsoft.Windows.Common-Controls,language="*",processorArchitecture="amd64",publicKeyToken="6595b64144ccf1df",type="win32",version="6.0.0.0" could not be found. Please use sxstrace.exe for detailed diagnosis.
Any suggestions?
Use the System File Checker tool to repair missing or corrupted system files. It is always a good idea to back up your data before proceeding.
System file check (SFC) Scan and Repair System Files & DISM to fix things SFC cannot.
Perform Clean Boot in Windows 10 / 8 / 7
Afterwards try installing the software again.
