Blank Notes Page on PowerPoint 2010

Hi,
I need to print my slides and notes but when I try to even view the notes page or to print a notes page, the pages are blank. I can print full pages, outlines and handouts, but for some reason, the notes pages just won't view or print.

I've tried saving many different ways such as pdf, pptx, xps, etc.
I've tried importing all the slides into a new document, or copying each one individually.
Notes Page remain blank

Please help

Does the Notes Master look normal?

ASKER

The Notes Master has all the default settings. I also tried to do one with only the slide image and body but the notes page is still blank.

Just to clarify.

The Notes page is completely blank - no slide image, no notes text OR do you mean there is no notes text.
the notes page is completely blank. See attachment for regular view vs notes page view

Jennifer, your 2nd screen shot, showing the View Ribbon... Click on the Notes Master icon (4 to the right of the Notes Page icon). Then check the boxes as indicated in my first post.

If all the boxes are checked and there are placeholders on the page in the view, then the master needs to be reapplied to the pages. To do that,

Right click in the blank page, select Notes Layout..., and Reapply Master.
Thanks Colleen.  This worked for me.  I had never come across this problem before -- after years of working with PP!
As expert Jon noted, my solution works.
