365 iphone email sending issue

We have just completed the switch-over to hosting our email with Microsoft 365. Everything went fine except with sending email from the native apps on the iPhones. If I install the Outlook app from the App store I can send and receive with no issues. But some users are complaining.

The error on the iPhone simply says "Cannot Send Mail" "An error occurred while delivering this message. The iPhone accounts where setup using autodiscover. Any help would be appreciated.

Just for information I have setup one of the accounts on my android using the native mail client and it can send and receive with no issues.

Did you recreate the profile after the migration?

We were on our own onsite Exchange server before. The problem happens on WiFi or data connection. Microsoft is now handling our DNS records. Before the move we used a Godaddy UCC SSL certificate, so nothing installed on the devices. I could try a reset of one of the phones to see if that helps. We are not using single sign on.

Just strange that all other devices are not  having any issues. I will let you know once I have done the iPhone reset and added the account again. Thanks

Factory reset of the iPhone solved the issue. Have just got to accept that I am having to do this for all of the company phones. Thanks for you help
