asked on

How to use 2 separate DNS names.

How to use 2 separate DNS names.

in the scenario where we have Active Directory Domain name : MyCompany.local
All our servers will be joined to the domain as ServerX.MyCompany.local

Now, I believe reaching applications on those servers from inside should not be a problem.

The question is ,  on the Public DNS, if our registered name is different than the internal DNS Name, example

PubCompany.com, Then how do Users access the applications on the server when they try from inside and outside ?

Thank you

The IP address for  PubCompany.com record on the Internal DNS should be the Public IP address or the Internal IP address ?
