how to replace ssd which is not in failure state

hello everyone,

i am planning to replace ssd in my vsan client environment.
please help me with the proper procedure how to do it.
do i have to do full data migration or ensure accessibility will be enough.

my ssd is not showing failure it is working fine for now but due to some issues we have to replace it.

please help me with proper way to do it.

my vsan version is 6.0
vcenter is 6.0 u2
and esxi is 6.0 u2

You could shut it down the machine, attach the 2nd SSD, and boot off a linux CD/DVD and use the dd command to copy over the source drive to the destination drive.  

After that, you can use partd or something like that to expand the partition if necessary..

Just a thought.. :-)
