I am exploring the possibility of using VMware vSAN 6. In reading the documentation, I see a minimum of 3 hosts is required. I have an existing 2 Host cluster, so I thought all I need is a third with all three meeting HDD requirements, and enable on vSAN.
However, reading further into the documentation it also says that "Hosts in a vSAN Cluster cannot belong to any other Cluster". Does this mean that vSAN cannot be enabled my existing HA Cluster with the 2 ESXi Hosts and that I need 3 additional hosts?
