Word 2013 - Table grid is not visible
I'm in a document and inside of a table. I see the table contextual tabs but don't see the cell boundaries of the table itself. Where can I turn this on?
You should be able to toggle the tables gridlines on/off by going to Borders>View Gridlines.

i don't think this is question of cell borders, the OP wants to see the outline of the cells, also called the grid
even if they are present in the document, they do not show up in the printed version
(see the second to last entry in the Borders menu you have included)

have a look at this article (for Word 2010, but should apply to Word 2013):
Change Word's default table properties to suit the way you workhttp://www.techrepublic.com/blog/microsoft-office/change-words-default-table-properties-to-suit-the-way-you-work/
By default, Word inserts a table with borders. If that's not your preference, change these default settings.

Word's a wiz at inserting and formatting tables, but by default, tables have borders. If you have to delete borders a lot, consider changing the default border property for tables. First, I'll show you a quick way to delete borders for a single table. Then, I'll show you how to change the default properties, so Word will insert a borderless table, by default.
