asked on

ASP.NET Load html part first, then start function

Hi,

I have a page that gets its data from a form on another page.
The idea is that this page should load its html code (loading gif and data being processed... text) completely. And after this has loaded, the codebehind part (processing data to database, send a couple of mails and finally redirect to another page) should be executed.

When I add the subs to page_load or page_loadcomplete, I immeadiately get redirected to that final page.

Where can I put the subs to get the current page to show itself?

Can someone help me with this?

Thanks!!

Kind regards,
Gery
