I have a remote client (8 hours away) that is switching from DHCP to PPPOE on its WAN.<br />
They have a SonicWall SOHO (only two interfaces) and I need to find a way to test the new WAN interface without losing connectivity to the device.<br />

Hardware-based firewalls provide more sophisticated protection for inbound and outbound traffic than the simple Windows software firewall or the basic NAT firewalls found in routers.
