Crystal Reports Watermark suppress in groupfooter

Hi,

We have a CRXI report with a watermark.  We want the watermark to show in all sections EXCEPT group footers which contain subreports.  The subreports should not show the watermark.  Is there a keyword or formula that can suppress the watermark (it is excel) if the section is a group footer?

Thanks.

Nope.

How do you have the watermark inserted?

It is a graphic in the page header with 'underlay following sections' checked.
The report is an invoice report with the subreports in the footers supplying ancillary information.
We don't want the watermark to show on the subreports.  Also, some invoices have it suppressed,
depending on the customer.  It is suppressing it on the subreports that is the issue.
As far as I  know you can't do that if you added it as a watermark

The watermark is for the entire report

This will work in this case as the subreports are for our delivery people and not the customer.  As long as the watermark is even partially block the delivery person should ignore it.

thanks.
If the subreport is not as wide as the main report, could you just make the subreport wider?

If the subreport is not at the top of the group footer section, or if there is another group footer section below the one containing the subreport, then the image would show in the group footer above or below the subreport.  If you have fields in those areas and you don't want to see the watermark behind those fields, you could, theoretically, replace the fields with a subreport and use the subreport bg color to suppress the watermark there too.  The new subreport wouldn't actually read any data.  You would just pass it the values for the fields that were displayed in that area and let the subreport display them, with the white bg.

IAC, I'm glad I could help.
