HomeGroup Issues
I reset to factory default to wife’s laptop (DMCLAPTOP). Once finished I tried to reconnect to an exernal hard drive (known as L: drive to folder named HOUSE) connected to my laptop (LMCLAPTOP). This is the path from her previous shortcut that connected before. \\LMCLAPTOP\house
Nothing has changed on my laptop. Her laptop says she is in WORKGROUP. In change network setting under homegroup it says you have been invited to join a homegroup
In settings mine says for Organization WORKGROUP
It acts like there is a home group on the network I cant see or get password to.
Any Suggestions and can you have two HOMEGROUPS

I agree with John, you may also want to right click on the drive hit properties, sharing, advanced sharing and making sure that you enable sharing on the drive; when you reset the HomeGroup settings at times it may disable sharing on network drives. (I have seen this happen quite often with Windows 10).
