I agree with John, you may also want to right click on the drive hit properties, sharing, advanced sharing and making sure that you enable sharing on the drive; when you reset the HomeGroup settings at times it may disable sharing on network drives. (I have seen this happen quite often with Windows 10).

I reset to factory default to wife’s laptop (DMCLAPTOP). &nbsp; Once finished I tried to reconnect to an exernal hard drive (known as L: drive to folder named HOUSE) &nbsp;connected to my laptop (LMCLAPTOP). &nbsp;This is the path from her previous shortcut that connected before. &nbsp; &nbsp; \\LMCLAPTOP\house<br />
