Converting a mix cd to mp3 in the exact content. One continueous compilation without any breaks between tracks

I have tried to convert my mix cds to mp3 without any breaks between the crossfaded tracks.  Each time I try it there is a slight pause where the tracks blends in.  This is very disturbing since I created the mix cds to have a continuous flow of uninterupted music.  Is there any way for me to create a mix mp3 file?

Hello Gordon

I probably won't be back here in a while to address your question, but could I perhaps ask you to provide some additional detail that will help other experts to make suitable suggestions.

It sounds as though you are "ripping" your CDs to MP3.  What software are you using to do this, and on what Operating System?

I use Audio Grabber to rip CDs into mp3s.  By default it will create an mp3 file for each CD track.  To rip the whole CD into a single mp3 I can edit the end sector of the first track to be the same as the end sector of the last track. Then unselect all but the the first track and hit 'Grab!' That will create one mp3 containing all the CD tracks with no gaps.
If what you are using to rip the CD will allow you to change the last sector then you should be able to to something similar.
Better still; tell us what software you are using to convert the CD to mp3.
