Access Need to add combo box to sub form
I would like to add a combo box to my sub form which will allow me to pick from a list and or add to the ToolsTbl.
The form is COFrm
The sub form is ItemsTbl subform
the combo would be based on the ToolsTbl
So for each entry on the sub form there should be a Tool description (T_Desc) from the Toolstbl
Tools-List.accdb

Did you try opening the form in design view and adding the combo yourself? There is a wizard that will help you.
This sounds more like "do my work for me" rather than "help me figure this out".

It kinda is, sorry but I don't do this much and I have deadlines. If you would like to help, then please do. If not keep your comments to yourself and don't waste your time or mine.
ssblue,
The experts work for free. You are getting paid for us doing your work. We really want to help you but you have to make an effort. If you want someone to do it for you, try using Gigs. Someone will spend a few minutes with you to gather more detailed specs and give you an estimate of what it would cost to do the task. You can then hire them or not. I don't take Gigs so it won't be me but there are several experts who might be available.

As Pat said, that's what Gigs or Live is for. You pay the Expert to do your work. If you post in the Q&A forums, and expect the Experts to do your work for you, then don't be surprised when those same Experts give you the cold shoulder.

I wasn't expecting anyone to do my work. What I was expecting was some help and the opportunity to learn. I know how to use Google to search for text, videos, books, consultants, courses, etc... I thought EE was for sharing expertise and dialog to enable others to learn. I'm also sure that most people using EE are working somewhere and needing help to keep their job.
I didn't ask for someone to do my work, I had done what I could and I was hoping someone might take the time to look at it and offer some suggestions because I had done all I knew to do and apparently something was not right. Thanks for the comments but you might want to make a note for future reference that some people using EE are novices who need a little more direction than others - if that's not your gig then leave the opportunity for someone else.
