Have a hybrid setup, with Exchange 2010 on premises and syncing to Azure AD through dirsync. We have a exchange 2013 hybrid setup and are migrating users on a schedule.
However, some users are having mailboxes create in the cloud, in addition to still having an on premise mailbox which is causing issues. I believe this is due to licensing the users but it is not intended.
Is there a way to have a scripted process via powershell to look at all mailboxes in office 365 and notify via email whenever a new mailbox appears? Or another tool such as exchange online or audit logs, etc.,
