Sharepoint - Dropdown to show in stock quantity beside product?
I am working on a simple stock control system in Sharepoint. I have two lists, the first of which contains a column for an item and a column for the quantity in stock of that item.
The second list, among other things, has a lookup which shows the item from the first list and an additional column showing the quantity.
Ideally, what I would like rather than having the quantity showing on the second list in it's own column, is to show the quantity in stock in parentheses beside the item i.e.
Mobile Phone (6)
Is there any way of doing this?

Are you just using SharePoint Columns or are you doing this by a form?

Right at this very second, just with columns - BUT - I could do the form in InfoPath
