HP Proliant P410i Move array to different slots in another server

I have 2 servers.  Both DL360 G6 servers with identical processors.  Both use the P410i controller.  The source server has 2 backplanes and 8 SFF hard drives.  The destination server has only the lower backplane.

I need to move the RAID 10 array (4 drives) from the top backplane of the source server to the bottom backplane of the destination server.

When I swap the drives with the server offline I am told at bootup that the drives are not in their correct bays and recommends I run the Array diagnostic utility.  However the options available after that are bios setup and array configuration utility.  The latter does not allow me to fix this issue.  It would only allow me to delete the volume and start over.

I am able to reach the storage controller CLI however none of the commands listed in help seem to have the functionality I am looking for.  I have run the SPP on the server hoping that it would update firmware etc.

Is there a simple solution for this or do I need to backup/restore?

Thank you for the comments.  I will attempt this again after the weekend.

I am not finding the upper backplane under $100 USD with all the cables for G6.  Lower backplane is plentiful.  I do believe that would be one solution to this problem.  Truth be told we will probably do a restore before ordering another backplane as we only need 4 drives and we would lose the DVD drive with the upper backplane.

I will try to wipe the config from the controller with smartstart and see if that works first.

I attempted to wipe the config on the controller and then move the drives but it would not accept the changed slots positions.  A 2nd bacakplane would have done it.  I ended up doing a backup/restore.  Thanks.
