Does anyone know how to create a user prompt for a specific date (or any value really) using vertica SQL? <br />

In oracles version of SQl...it was as easy as putting an &amp;&nbsp;in front of the prompt label...but can not seem to find the symbol needed to have the vertica database prompt the user for the value I want to collect from them. <br />

Any words of wisdom?
