Wordpress contact form sending spam
Our EcDev department has a website that is sending out randomly generate spam I'm just trying to figure out how.
The site is version 4.7.4 the latest
The site is running WordFence
The contact form does have a captcha 'i am not a robot'
The emails are coming us in this format this is in the body of the email:
The actual From field shows the same 590ca1f9dc0fd as in the body but this part <dongle69@yahoo.com> is <wordpress@www2.ourwebsite .ca>
From: 590ca1f9dc0fd <dongle69@yahoo.com>
Subject: [your-subject]
Message Body:
[your-message]
This is the way the body of the email is showing.
Can anyone shed some light for me?
Thanks :)
