Lotus Notes Database not reducing in size after deleted documents and compact was performed.

The physical and logical mail database size has not reduced after thousands of email messages were deleted.  I ran a compact on the database and still no change.  What's the command to reduce the mail database size?

Did you remove the mails from the Trash folder?

Yes I did.

Try to use the Admin client to run a Compact on the database, with the option to reduce the size of the file.

I ran Compact - In place with file size reduction through Domino Admin and no change.

Oh my... and copy-style compacting?

is the file locked by the Domino server?

No, the file is not locked.  It did decrease over the weekend.  It must be a scheduled job. Is there a command that I can run to make this happen on demand, rather than once a week or whenever it's scheduled?  Where do I find where this would be set up to run?
