My Zultys MX250 decided to change passwords on all users and locked us out

I have a Zultys MX250 and today it kicked everyone out and said password was reset logoff and log back in.

this is strange.. i am and Admin and i cannot get in to the device .. help!

I have never used this product before but have used many other networking and telecommunication products so I am going to try to help you since no one else is giving their two cents.

You should be able to connect to this device using serial cable and have full access.  Have you tried that?  See page 2 CONSOLE MODE # 7 -12.

Failing all that is hard reset an option?
Did you try and login and received bad password prompt which eventually turned into an account is locked message?
-OR-
Did you try and login and received an account is locked message?

In the first, we know you locked the account and your password changed
In the second someone/something else might have locked account

i have not attempted a console connector as of yet, a factory reset is my last option. i have a backup , but not sure if that was backup correctly by my predecessors.

it dose not lock the account after several tries, t just says too many attempt tried and knocks me out

i am hoping i can get Zultys to login and help but i do not have support with  them.

i will try.. do you have any documentation on how do that from that device?
thank you all. i did resolve this with a reset of the admin password without losing the original ip address or config. Zultys did get back to me and was very helpful to a point. i needed to contact my distributor, but they let me know who that was in my area, then a Director called me to see if i needed further assistance. Very nice to receive.
