How can we block any website on a server 2007 standard or server 2008R2?

We would like to block facebook.com and any other social media website of choice, on a network, for users that are using Explorer, Firefox etc.. no matter what browser.
How can this be done?

Personally your best option would be the likes of OpenDNS. doesn't matter what browser or what devices as its control from the router/Firewall level

Can this also restrict one from using watsapp, I know it can block watapp web but can it block it all together on my company network.
Your router slash firewall is the best place to do --- I was working at a fed up company who impose such foolishness with the group policy so we could only access company website and we couldn't download anything either so I fired up my portable app with my own browser and bypass that rubbish..... lol hey I'm not a normal user nor should you think all employees are normal. So blocking it at the entry point of the internet is your best bet, unless they are smart like me and use TOR browser in stead which would defeat the purpose.
