If you want to see anything in notepad you must program scanner to work as keyboard emulator.<br />
I don't know this scanner because it's Chinese, but most scanners to program you must scan barcode name START PROGRAM, then EMULATION ASCI, then END PROGRAM.<br />

I prefer Worthdata scanners because they have a hundreds of emulations included postamble and preamble.

I have a Dewo XT-7100 Omnidirectional Barcode Scanner, when testing with Notepad all barcodes are being shown as XXXXXXXXXXXXX<br />
