Converting one Public Folder folder into Room Mailbox for recurring meeting room appointment ?

I'm using Exchange Server 2013, I've got one Public folder called Main Meeting Room that is currently configured as Public Folder, in this folder, there are multiple recurring meeting scheduled and multiple people making it as the meeting booking for the next 6-9 months in advance.
So how can I convert it as Room Mailbox so that this resource can be used properly without losing its appointment backup?
