Windows 2012 R2 Remote desktop stopped working
Hello All,
I have lost the ability to make remote desktop connections to some of my 2012R2 servers. The firewalls are all "off" and I even took the step of removing Symantec Antivirus from one of the problem machines, but I still have the issue.
This is the error I receive when I try to make RDC connections. I have checked to make sure the remote desktop service is running.
I see that port 3389 is "Listening" when I have done netstat -a
Any help is appreciated.

It's pingable. It's running.
Try the below list first:
- You can ping both ways?
- Windows Firewalls are turned off?
- Anti-Virus/Firewall turned off?
- Both machines have the same time (nothing like kerberos throwing this out)?
- You are connecting with an account that has the correct permissions?
- Are you able to log into this machine locally with account?
- Have you tried RDP via name and IP address?

I can ping both ways
Firewalls are off (Domain), I also checked
I uninstalled Anti-Virus from one of the machines and it didn't help
I have console access
I verified that time synchronization is working
I have admin access
Name and IP address have both been tried without success

What is the connection like?
Are you RDPing from a LAN to LAN machine or it is a LAN to a machine across a Site-to-Site or LAN to external machine?
