Spectrum\Time Warner VPN Instability

Hi,  I have sonicwall routers at all locations.  We recently upgraded our coaxial broadband connections and since then we can't send any file larger that 5-8mb without it adversely affecting all our office's VPN connections.  They will all drop almost simultaneously.  We went thru a similar issue a few months back and found that one of the cable modems was sending mal-formed packets back to the core router which in turn destabilized all other VPN connections.  Once we made the change on that modem all VPN's were back to normal.  This time, however, it is not working... Anyone have any ideas on how to address as I'm getting no support from TWC or Spectrum at this point.  Thanks, Chris

hello,

what was the real problem back then? MTU size and ip fragmentation ?
This might be a way.

Firewall\ALG settings on the cable modem itself.  MTU has been checked and correct for all offices.
The problem occur only with large files?

Correct, we have Pan's that send X-Rays back to the Corp office and they are crapping out.  Usually the images are around 3-8mb in size depending on what they take and how many.  So far I have gotten the run a round at Spectrum and my account rep even dropped working with me too.  I'm trying to isolate if there is another bad modem, but at this time, I'm thinking there is a configuration issue on their end as we were stable for months before "upgrading" service.  No changes on my infrastructure or offices.
Did you check your routers cpu/memory use while transfering files?

Yeap, got plenty memory and proc. power.
is the problem on all locations or only when you transfert from certain ones ?
are all site connected to one site? or they connected each others ?

Tested each location and the problem persists.  Tried disabling one VPN at a time to isolate and the problem persists.  Last time that is how I found which office was causing the problem, this time I did the same to try to isolate and nothing.  Verified all routers and cable modems are configured appropriately.

Update, it appears I finally got some TierIII support and their were "abnormalities" before and after their node.  They are replacing parts and things seem to be finally getting better.  Not 100% yet, but getting there.  Thanks for the replies!
nice to hear the problem is getting fixed.
