Run Remote Desktop without administrative priveledge

Hello Experts

I just set up a Windows 7 machine (Desktop).  The client needs to use remote desktop for part  of her work.  However it won't run without admin privileges.  I've never seen this before.  She is a user and her old machine worked fine with just user privilege.  I gave her full control in the Security Tab, but it still doesn't connect to the other end.  If I choose "Run as Administrator", it connects right off.

Any ideas how to remedy this?

Thanks

Is she a member on the other machine of Remote Desktop Users?
Anthony Janson:

Yes, she is.  The other end is a service we use regularly.  Everyone else is working fine.  And if I "Run as Administrator", it connects just fine.  The issue is getting THIS machine to use THIS program as a user rather than an administrator.

What exactly happens when you run it as a normal user? Any errors you get or is it the generic error message?
Anthony Janson

Nothing happens.  It tries to connect and just sits there, spinning.  I've let it try for about a minute and then I close it.

I'm going to call the service and seed what they can tell me.

thanks

Hello Experts:

Well it seems the problem was one of communication.  Remote Desktop was working the whole time.  The user had reported it to her supervisor, who reported it to me.  But when I talked to the user, she said it had been working the whole time, once she got her credentials.  But no one told me.

My apologies for the wild goose chase.  I'll split the points as evenly as I can.

Thanks for your efforts.
