Incorrect Password After Windows Update
Password will not take after a windows update. After the update and restart, it asks for the Bit-locker recovery key which I supply correctly, but the login is always incorrect.
Asking the obvious: Is Caps Lock on?
I wonder also about a temporary profile. Shut down (power all the off), wait a minute, then power back on. Do you get your proper login prompt?

Caps lock is off. I powered off but get the same result: boot, enter the recover key, restart, and attempt login without success. I've tried establishing a new profile but that doesn't take. Profiles are tied to our Office 365 Azure tenet. User had a PIN but that is not an option anymore.
You may need to get a new hard drive, unencrypted, and install Windows on that.
Logon with a different account with administrative rights and reset the user's password.
If you don't have access to such an account, we need to do some extra steps, so let me wait for your feedback.

I already reset the user's password via our Office 365 tenet. The user was able to login into a different machine without issue. The local administrator account is not enable. Whenever I need admin rights for these machines, I login with our Office 365 admin account which now does not work with this particular machine. Login screen shows both Ethernet and WiFi as connected.

Also, every time i restart, it prompts me for the recover key which I provided successfully.
The encryption has nothing to do with your problem, stop mentioning it :-)
If you can reset the password and it works on other machines, then please make sure that you have the correct keyboard layout active while entering it on the problem machine.

Keyboard layout is correct.
I login with our Office 365 admin account which now does not work with this particular machine.
Do a benign Windows 10 Reinstall and Keep Everything.
Go to the Media Creation Link
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10
Click on Upgrade to Windows 10 (even if Windows 10 is running), click on the Download button, select Open (Run) but NOT Save. It is possible you may need to go to the download location and run the program - it depends on exactly what MCL does (it changes from time to time). Allow the program to run. Allow drivers to update. Then select Keep Everything.

Ok, so I was able to login with a local admin after I enable and set the local admin account via cmd. Now I just need to figure out why it will not accept our office 365 logins.
From the admin account, delete the problem profiles and set them up again.

Latest - I couldn't created additional o365 profiles so I ended up reinstalling. Something broke with the latest windows updates which didn't allow o365 profiles to authenticate.
