Mysql Server backup from RDS to remote

Hi all,

I wanted to backup few tables from RDS to my remote mysql server on daily basis.
Using Mysqldump on cron would work but issue is that its too huge and updating whole records again is not feasible .
Wanted script or some method to update or add only newly added or updated records on my remote DB Server so that server don't gets loaded or consumes too much time.

OS: ubuntu
db : mysql

sqlyog can do the same. we are not looking for paid system on our linux server
Creating a slave DB for the target tables is an option, also, Then it's updated almost real-time, and you can manipulate the backups as you see fit on the remote server. This alleviates the need to dump whole data sets on some regular schedule, as all db IO is replicated on your slave.
Slave option is not possible. As it runs on real time and it would unnecessary provide load on server. secondly i am not sure if its possible as both Geo-location are different .

I want to run on script which would only fetch certain tables and only updated records only
