*** SMTP Virtual Server - Mail Stuck in Queue Folder ***
I am using SMTP Virtual Server to send email in Windows Server 2000. All emails are stuck in the Queue folder. I turned off the firewall to make sure it's not a firewall port blocking issue.
I ran SMTPDiag and everything seems ok. Results attached.
Why are mails still stuck in the Queue folder?

where is your IIS Virtual server pointing your next hop?
is there any configuration change since last time?
use this SMTP diag to test it
SMTP server = MX record
from: your addy
to: gmail
https://www.adminkit.net/smtp_diag_tool.aspx
if it is working, then restart IIS service and SMTP transport services
iisreset /force
usually reset it both services

and if it is possible then it will be the IIS smtp issues.

I couldn't install SMTP Diag Tool on Windows Server 2000. It says "SMTP Diag Tool cannot be installed on systems with .NET Framework version lower than 4.0 Client Profile"

Looks like it is related to your next hop and your credential.
are you using AOL by any chance?
can you check whether your outgoing security is set to anonymous or basic?

In the Advanced Delivery tab, Smart Host doesn't have a value.

Jian An Lim - the server info and emails in the IIS SMTP log are confidential. I PM'ed you some log files.
Please check and let me know without posting server info and specific email information here.

hi,
I have did a quick look @ them.
Right click "SMTP Virtual Server" then Click Properties
Select Access tab
Click "Relay..." in Relay Restrictions
Check it and report what settings you have?
do you have Select "Only the list below"?
do it have IP address?

"Only the list below" is selected and there is a IP address. I just PM'ed you the IP.
I wonder something wrong with your IP address range,
you got 2 options. either put the right address.
or remove that to allow every IP address to test this out.

I have the exact same SMTP Virtual server settings on another server and it works great. I'm not sure why SMTP Virtual server doesn't work here.
