Expression is made in 3 pieces in multi-lingual languages.
Hi All,,
My Expression is made in 3 pieces in multi-lingual languages.
The expression is :
":تحصيل شيك رقم:" & [PNcmbx] & "من برسم التحصيل"
The first and the last texts are in right-t-left language. The middle is a field in English and shows correctly in its own box.
The result is on the Form shows like in the attached image:
When I tried to copy it from the text from Form or from the Table and past it here (or in NotePad or Word), It becomes like:
تحصيل شيك رقم:00102-CHمن برسم التحصيل
What I want is to show is as in the Image but keeping the PNcmbx (The middle one) as 00102-CH since it is stored as one piece i.e. 00102-CH and shows correctly on in its own field.

I admit to not knowing much about right-t-left languages, but I presume they are using a different font? My guess is that the copy-paste operation takes the formatting of the first textbox and applies that to the entire string.
But copy/paste can be real tricky as it can depend both on the receiving application as well as the source application.
What do you need to place the data into? Could you do a code based export instead?

Can you explain idea of your form?
User enter remark, then Number field is inserted in the middle of remark?
Why you like to store Number in remark? May be you can store 3 fields separately: preremark, number, post remark?
Where and how should be used combination of languages?
Look at sample with rich text fields

agree it would be better to export than copy/paste. Try using an ADO stream. Alternately, you can use automation to get text into another application.

not sure what you are using to snip, but there is no doubt also a way to resize the image. Alternately, you could open the image with Paint. On the Home ribbon: in Tools group: Image, Resize.

I changed the expression to become as number only and am trying to convince the client with that.
However,
I noticed that the problem comes from the special characters. In this case the '-' (Hyphen or any special character in that position will do the same ) !!! .
I still really can not understand.
On the form in my simulated DB ref up here in (ID: 42134179 2017-05-14) shows correctly but can not use it any where else.
I will not blame any one if no obvious solution can be made.
I do appreciate your efforts with me on this.
