netlogon service wont start
Hi guys,
I have a fileserver and a print server that i have recently updated (windows 2003) and after applying the updates the netlogon service wont start.
this is the error i am getting, i have checked the server service and thats working ok. i have also edit
Start Registry Editor (Regedt32.exe).
Locate the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/System/ CurrentCon trolSet/Se rvices/Net logon/
In the right pane, double-click the DependOnService value .
In the Multi-String Editor dialog box, type the following strings on separate lines, and then click OK:
LanmanServer
LanmanWorkstation
Quit Registry Editor, and then restart the computer.

also i notice i cant start the workstation service or the the RPC service...
is there a question in there.
Is this the only DC in the environment, do you error dealing with jrnl_
Usually, that event includes the direction to the fix.
Look for burflags d2/d4 fixes.

Can you post the actual error you get when you try to start the Netlogon service? I don't see it in your question.
