Open Adobe and display a PDF file I just printed

I used to print a file to pdf and it would open the file in adobe when the file was saved.  Now it just saves the file but doesn't open Adobe acrobat when printing.  How do I make it open the saved file in adobe acrobat at the same time I save it to a PDF?  Thanks for your hep in advance.

It depends on where you are saving the PDF from. Are you doing it from a browser, from a program like Word, or elsewhere? Each of these have separate settings that automatically open Acrobat after saving as a PDF.

Hi Katrina, saving it from a Firefox browser.  thanks for responding.
I found this article that seems to have the solution to this issue. It's a setting in Firefox itself. Open Firefox > menu > Preferences > Applications > search for "PDF" and from the dropdown next to it you can select how you want PDFs to open.
Hi Katrina, thank you.  This ensure the file saved will be an Adobe Acrobat PDF, but doesn't automatically open Adobe Acrobat viewer at the time of the print/save.  I've tested it on multiple systems to be sure it's not my computer.  If you find any other options, please let me know.  Thanks again.
