Redirected folders moving to new domain
Hi
I need to copy users redirected folders from a SBS to a new domain server as we are scrapping the SBS, I have tried but get access denied issues when copying the folder in to the new domain folder?

Yes I understand, the easiest way to do it would be to grant permissions to your admin account from the users account. The other option is taking ownership but I've found issues in the past with the permission propagating to all sub folders and files. Doing it from the users account and giving the admin permissions from there removes this as an issue.

Thank you.
The User's redirected folders permissions are locked down to that particular user. The easiest thing to do would be to give yourself permission from that user account opposed to taking over permissions -Depending on how many users you actually have.
