Windows 2008R2 update

Hi

I'm trying to update Windows 2008R2 server to Windows 2012R2. The setup is not working because of an error.

Windows won't install unless each of these things is taken care of. Close Windows Setup, take care of each one, and then restart Windows Setup to continue.

Make these changes:
Turn off these Windows features.
Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 - Please read Microsoft Knowledge Base article: 962216

I have followed many path to get rid of Sharepoint because I don't need it on this server. The error is still there.

Anyboby have a clue?

Thanks

I would ensure you have nothing referencing Sharepoint in Add/or Remote Programs and also ensure this is not in Add/or Remove Roles and Features on the server.

Secondly - I wouldn't recommend upgrading now, you will be better doing a clean build and then migrating the services and FSMO roles across.

ASKER

I've already built an other fresh install Windows 2012R2 and transfert the roles. This server I'm trying to update is a backup DC.

Only have DHCP roles on it.
