sync two window 10 machine
Is there a way to sync two window 10 machine?
Should occur automatically daily.
Would be a plus is it would sync but ways so both can be used.
If yes how? (Is it a future build into windows or this party software needed? If a third party what would you recommend?)
Do they need to be on the same location/network?
Does the hardware need to be identical (size, type, raid)

Not a whole computer, of course, but ALL the docs and files, yes. I do that routinely and daily.

There is no way to synch whole computer over internet. Except if converting to a Hyper-V and use Hyper-V replication
To sync files it can be done with Sync Back Pro no need to be on the same network but it makes it easier
No the hardware needs to be identical and can run Sync Back on demand or to a schedule. A good alternative is to use FreeFileSync https://www.freefilesync.org/, It is free the tool provides for 2-way sync or mirror backup. You can specify source and target folders as matched pairs and it even works across multiple platforms. There is another option using crashplan https://www.crashplan.com/en-us/ which is also free. Sync Back Pro is not expensive and be used to backup to cloud [google amazon azura]
A Microsoft Account can also be used to sync desktop settings and OneDrive or DropBox or google drive to sync documents. But with this you need to only use their folder and remember not to use any other folder like my documents. And it is limited in space. This would be a better choice for sync but not recommended for large files and only for standard document like office .. but not quickbooks or VM…
Thank you all
