Duplicate SPN entries
I had an error regarding SPN in the event log on my server. From the server named in the error I ran the command setspn -x
It came back with two entries regarding that server.
1. MSSQLSvr/servername.domain name.com is registered on these accounts:
2. MSSQLSvr/servername.domain name.com:1 443 is registered on these accounts:
Are these two separate duplicates and I need to delete both or do I just delete one of them? And if I only need to delete one of them, which one?
I had this question after viewing HELP!!! How do you determine which SPN is the duplicate?.
