I'm using Microsoft Application Virtualization 5 to package an application which relies on Citrix receiver. I'm able to package the application just fine, but Citrix receiver does not seem to work when packaged. <br />

I'm looking for solutions. Maybe if my application shortcut could call the local install of Citrix receiver. That would work. But it does not by default. Can this be updated in the registry? Shortcut? <br />

Or maybe someone knows how to successfully package Citrix receiver. <br />

Calling Citrix from Virtualized Package

Virtualization is the act of creating a virtual (rather than actual) version of something, including (but not limited to) a virtual computer hardware platform, operating system (OS), storage device, or computer network resources. Virtualization is usually the creation of a system that executes separate from the underlying hardware resources, or the creation of an entire desktop for systems located elsewhere, similar to thin clients.

Virtualization
