Turn on TV remotely

Hello.

We have many TVs (LG with webOS) in our company that need to run almost all the time. Sometimes happens that someone turn it off for fun so I have to go there physically (quite far) and turn it on again. Is there any way how to turn on the TV connected to PC via HDMI remotely?

Chromecast might be the way forward, if your TV supports it

Very interesting ... but also expensive solution for turning TVs on only.
Yeah, unfortunately, it's either chromecast or apple TV, neither are cheap but that's pretty much the only option at this point.

Even if you get something to turn the socket on, it's still going to put the telly in standby

There you go
Any cheaper solution?
Enclose the TVs in a lockable case.  Provide limited access to them.  Mount an IR blaster into the wall or ceiling that you can then use to remotely turn them on (this would require a bit of creativity - I don't know of any specific solution for this, but in theory it should work.
