Apple Trackpad 2 works better plugged into USB than BT.

I have a Mac Pro running the latest version of OS X. I, unfortunately need to run Windows to manage my network, and I'm using VMWare Fusion to create Windows 7 and 10 VM's. I am using an Apple Magic Trackpad 2 device. Mostly when I'm running the VM's, it works OK, but occasionally it will just start tracking badly. Either it will track way too fast or be jerky in it's tracking. Then it will settle down and work fine for a bit. Today I started experimenting with having the track pad plugged into it's USB charging base all of the time and, while I've not done this very long, it seems more stable. I assume that I'm still connecting via BT.

Has anyone else seen this or have a solution for this issue?

Thanx...

Tools are installed and are the latest version. I'm also running the latest version of Fusion.  Not sure what you're talking about with remote console or web console. It's a VM running on top of MacOS. I clicked on the link you embedded above, but it took me somewhere not VMware.

Chris, thanx for the tip.  I've set that and will see if it makes a difference or not. I'm back to running without being plugged into the USB cable.
So, making the change in Fusion "may" have helped a little and I know this would seem to make no sense, but the only time the trackpad is really really good is when it's plugged into the USB port.
Been running for the last week or so with the TP2 plugged into the USB port all of the time and I've not noticed any weirdness at all with the response.
While the change in Fusion "may" have helped a little, basically the problem still exists. It doesn't seem as bad, but there is a noticeable stability when I have it plugged into USB.  Any other thoughts?
While the suggestion to make the adjustment in Fusion helped, it didn't ultimately fix the issue. I did discover that something that seems to have made a huge difference, is putting the Windows VM's on their own full-screen desktop. Not that it's perfect, but doing that seems to have mostly solved the issue.
