SBS 2011/Exchange 2010 Send Connector to Outbound/Spam Mail Filter
Trying to create an send connector to first send e-mail to our spam filter service.
Here is the configuration:
Type=Internet
Address Space: Type=SMPT, Address=*, Cost=1
Network: Route mail through the following host: Smart Host: NA0100.SMTPOUT.COM
Source Server: equal our server.
All outbound mail is being delivered, but it is not reaching the spam filter site. Their technical support thinks it is the fault of the Send Connector and they are lacking in Exchange expertise.
Inbound works great and I would like the added benefits of the outbound for this customer, especially since they are a sensitive site.
Thank you for your assistance.

Because you can go to the spam filter site's dashboard and look at inbound, outbound and both e-mails. Gives you their status, i.e., delivered, spam, quarantined, etc. Nothing for outbound. E-mail is otherwise being delivered outbound normally. (Else the roof would cave in. These folks are seriously e-mail addicted.)

I see but you said the emails are not reaching the spam filter site so this is where I got confused. If you can see it on the spam filer site's dashboard then it is getting there. Is the problem too much spam still getting through?

Sorry. I was NOT clear. Outbound mails should be visible on the dashboard, but are NOT. So the assumption is that the Send Connector is not sending the e-mails to that address.

Can you clarify this? How do you know they are delivered if it's not reaching the spam filter site?
