Exchange Online Archive

Hi we recently rolled out exchange online archiving in our exchange environment for Microsoft outlook. We have one client who has a bunch of flagged emails with multiple tasks associated to them that have been archived into the archived mailbox. The client can find these flagged emails, but all tasks associated to them have disappeared. We went through all settings we can think of hoping to find a way to activate the tasks but have not been successful. If the client forwards one of these flagged emails back to herself and opens the email from her active mail the tasks once again appear.

Would anybody know if this is a limitation with the exchange online archive?
