Thank You Wayne.
No problem and good luck Senthil.  Is it an external or internal HDD?  If an internal HDD, you can also try putting it on another machine if it can read it.  If external, I would take it apart and install it directly to a desktop computer to see if it can see it.  Other than that, the options are limited.
If you are facing a serious issue with your hard drive data recovery and any manual method is not helping you out then you can try third party solution. Since, Few days back I was also stuck with somewhat similar issue then Hard Drive Recovery was the last and relevant solution for me. Really helped me. You can also check the trial version of software to check out whether relevant for your problem exactly or not.
Hope it might helps you too.
Thanks
There is a tool called GetDataBack from www.runtime.org which is one of the data recovery tools. Give a try to a trial version and see if it detects the data.
i also recommend GetDataBack  - it's not free - but the best i know
it will show the data it can recover for free - but to store the data, you need to pay
a good investment !
