Citrix Users profiles Migration
Hi Citrix experts
We have xenapp 6.5 windows server 2008 R2 up and running and we are using Citrix Profil manager for These roaming profiles
Now we installed new Citrix xenapp 7.12 windows server 2012 R2
So how can I migrate users profiles without any side effects
Just use robocopy to move users profiles and folder redirection to the. Ew location
And configure the users profiles policy on delivery group and point to the new location
I tested this the folder redirection worked well
But profiles it self got some issues
Like for example internet explorer history and fire fox
Word a d excel history etc
Do you have any idea or third party tool can help me in this case

I am asking about only one part
Migrate Citrix users profiles from one cifs to other cifs server
Because I just finished installation for brand new xenapp 7.12
As I said the old xenapp 6.5 and the new one xenapp 7.12
The only thing I need to migrate the old Citrix users profiles to the new one
What the best approach
I don't want to make upgrade and I don't need Citrix DNA in my case

using robocopy keeping the permissions shoud work.
do you have the issues with XA6.5 / W2008R2 pointing to the new profile location too?

My problem when I migrate the profiles to new location
Shortcuts on users desktop dose not work
Word and excel history dose not work
Such problems I have right now

Sounds more like redirected folders scenario like with standard edition Citrix but using Group Policy to redirect folders?

Folders redirection worked very well
Like desktop documents etc
Right now my main problem when I migrate Citrix user profile to the new location
Two things dose not work
1- history of office
2- short cuts which point to some directory or file which located on our file server
I start to feel that this issue has no solution
