How to max the resolution on a Canon Powershot ELPH 520 HS?
I need to photograph and take videos at great distance, but find the device:

too grainy.
How do I max out the resolution? I think such a great camera may work fine for me, if I could adjust it.
Thanks.

Thanks. But my requirement s that it fits easily into my front pocket. It seems like the Canon I selected is a big improvement over what I have, but will not rival the results of Micro Four Thirds. But I am not doing nature shots, so this should not be a problem.
Is this Canon - PowerShot SX620 HS 20.2-Megapixel the best camera in this physical size?

I need a camera that I can put in my pocket, like the Canon Powershot (same thickness), but which provides a larger sensor.
What camera can you suggest?
And what about this camera?

That's looking like a winner for me...How's the sensor size?
