Problem with Server 2012
I am setting up a server and installing Server 2012 R2. I am not very familiar with Server 2012 and server pools. I am trying to do a software raid 1 however with Server pools i am encountering the following issue. I have two 3 TB Sata HDs. They are both connected. The first drive has the OS and the second drive is unallocated. Both are set to MBR. When i try to create a storage pool it allocates all 4 TB from the two HDs as one which is cool. However when i try to do a Virtual disk it does not find any more that 92 Gbs . My two questions are what may i being doing wrong and the second is since both disks are in the storage pools is there already fault tolerance so that if one drive fails the other will still carry the OS until the other one is replaced?
