I recall a few years ago that I used a program similar to Skype which allowed me to have private conversations via this tool.<br />
<br />
There was some sort of key that I generated on my PC and emailed to the other person, which that person added to this tool. We then have &quot;private&quot; conversations.<br />

Does this sound familiar to anyone? That does tool, or another, offer this today?<br />

Instant messaging (IM) is a type of online chat that offers real-time text transmission over the Internet. A LAN messenger operates in a similar way over a local area network. Voice Over IP

Security is the protection of information systems from theft or damage to the hardware, the software, and the information on them, as well as from disruption or misdirection of the services they provide. The main goal of security is protecting assets, and an asset is anything of value and worthy of protection.  Information Security is a discipline of protecting information assets from threats through safeguards to achieve the objectives of confidentiality, integrity, and availability or CIA for short. On the other hand, disclosure, alteration, and disruption (DAD) compromise the security objectives.
