Acronis True Image 16
Hi Experts,
I just downloaded Acronis True Image 16 trial, but before I purchase, I am hoping if someone can answer the following.
I created a simple backup to backup 2 follders, incrementally, and full backup every 28 cycles. In the Subject of the email alert, can I specify if the backup was full or incremental?
I tried restoring a .text file to a different location (my desktop), but when I open it in Notepad, I get Access Denied??
In the subject line I get "Backup task completed successfully.", but in the email body (pasted below) I see "Failed to create snapshot for backup", how come?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you Acronis Support,
But I did submit a ticket before creating this post, but no reply. The case #02991913
To answer your questions, I did restore through Acronis by going under the backup that I created and clicked "Recover Files" then went through the steps.
Secondly, yes I am backing up from a network share.
If you can directly reply to my case that would be appreciated.

I also advise against making incremental backups. Given the amount of virus ransomware that is going around, only full backups should be considered a reliable defense.
Side note: Backups should be kept on media that are inaccessible when a backup is not actually being done. Ransomware encrypts all drives and shares it can find, so backup files that the computer can access during operation will also be encrypted. Back up to external drives and disconnect them when not in use.
